Four Phone-men of Apocalyse

While riding the bus in Basel, a group of young boys got onto the bus and immediately formed a circle, facing each other yet not looking at each other in the eyes or as much as interacting, but each firmly glued to the smart phones in their hands. This imagery burnt into my brain so vividly that I knew right away what my next project would be when I returned to Sorano in 2024 for another Raku week. What could have been the weakest links, the arms and phones, managed to stay on tight during the violent fires of Raku.
