Ceramics
Below is a selection of my recent ceramic output. Click to learn more about each unique piece. The process of creation, from greenware to freshly glazed, can be found on my Instagram. All stoneware pieces were Made in Basel: first bisqued at cone 07 (~970°C) and then matured at cone 6 (~1220°C) in an electric kiln in oxidation. The Raku pieces were primarily created during several workshops-in-residence in Toscana Maremma: after bisque, they were fired in a gas kiln to 980°C (or 780°C in the case of Obvara and Horsehair) before being removed red-hot to be set on fire or undergo other exciting manipulations.
